CRC Certification

Details
I. Introduction to Certification
The National Communications Commission (CRC) of Colombia is the competent authority for wireless and telecommunications equipment in Colombia. According to the requirements of CRC, mobile phones and communication products, etc. need to be approved before they can be legally sold and used in Colombia.
For consumer wireless products, according to the requirements of CRC, manufacturers need to register to obtain a voluntary certification letter issued by CRC. Although this letter is voluntary in nature, both the customs and the market supervision department will conduct inspections. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to obtain it.
Colombia recognizes FCC reports (CE is not accepted). After the applicant submits the FCC report and necessary technical documents to the CRC, the CRC will issue a CRC certification letter.
