Details

1. Introduction to Certification

South Africa's Independent Communications Agency (ICASA) is the regulator of South Africa's national broadcasting communications and postal services. All wireless products need to obtain ICASA certification before entering the South African market. For wireless communication equipment exported to the South African market, it is necessary to report to the South African Independent Communications Bureau (Independent Communications) Authority of South Africa, referred to as ICASA) for model certification application, and only after approval can it be sold. It should be noted that ICASA certification can only be issued to local registered companies or representative agencies in South Africa, so it is best for domestic manufacturers to apply for ICASA by local importers. , but testing can be done domestically.
