Energy efficiency label certification

Details
I. Introduction to Energy Efficiency Label Certification
The energy efficiency label has a blue and white background, with the words "CHINAENERGYLABEL" marked on the top. The back is sticky and requires it to be affixed to the front panel of the product. The structure of the logo can be divided into a background information column, an energy efficiency grade display column, and a product-related indicator display column. As an information identifier, the energy efficiency label directly indicates the energy efficiency grade, energy consumption indicators and other relatively important performance indicators of energy-consuming products. The energy efficiency grade is the most important indicator for judging whether a product is energy-saving. The lower the energy efficiency grade of a product, the higher its energy efficiency, the better the energy-saving effect and the more electricity it saves. At present, China's energy efficiency labels classify energy efficiency into five grades: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Grade 1 indicates that the product has reached the international advanced level, is the most energy-efficient, and has the lowest energy consumption. Grade 2 indicates relatively energy-saving. Grade 3 indicates that the energy efficiency of the product is at the average level of the Chinese market. Grade 4 indicates that the energy efficiency of the product is lower than the market average. Grade 5 is a market access indicator. Products that fall below the requirements of this grade are not allowed to be produced or sold. To popularize the awareness of energy conservation and efficiency improvement among various consumer groups, the energy efficiency grade display board uses three forms of presentation to visually express the information of energy efficiency grades: the first is the text part "low energy consumption, medium energy consumption, high energy consumption"; The second is the numerical part "1, 2, 3, 4, 5"; The third type is the grade indicator color code arranged according to the emotions represented by the colors, where red represents prohibition, orange represents warning, and green represents environmental protection and energy conservation.
Therefore, energy efficiency labels enable consumers to compare the energy-saving effects of different products, thus allowing them to purchase more energy-efficient and cost-effective products.
Ii. Scope of Product Certification
Monitors, LCD TVS, plasma TVS, rice cookers, induction cookers, household washing machines, refrigerators, storage water heaters, energy-saving lamps, high-pressure sodium lamps, printers, copiers, electric fans.
Iii. Certification Process
Step 1: Product inspection
Energy efficiency testing should be carried out in qualified laboratories.
After passing the inspection in accordance with the corresponding national energy efficiency standards, an energy efficiency inspection report will be issued. The test report is an important basis for the energy consumption index marked on the product's energy efficiency label. The original report should be submitted to the Energy Efficiency Label Management Center for review and filing.
Step 2: Produce energy efficiency labels
In order to maintain the seriousness of the labeling system, facilitate market supervision, and effectively enhance consumers' recognition and awareness of labels, there are strict and uniform requirements for the style of energy efficiency labels in China. The basic styles of energy efficiency labels for various products, such as shape, color, pattern and overall layout, remain consistent, but their dimensions and energy consumption indicators are different. Therefore, enterprises should produce energy efficiency labels in accordance with the requirements of the corresponding product implementation rules.
Please click to download the editable energy efficiency label sample in CorelDRAW format. Open it with CorelDRAW version 11.0 or above (with Founder font library), and mark the producer's name, specification model, energy efficiency grade and energy efficiency index. The energy efficiency grade and energy efficiency indicators should be determined based on the test report. The energy efficiency indicators should not exceed the value range of the corresponding energy efficiency grade, and the energy efficiency indicators of the tested samples should be able to meet the marked values in the energy efficiency label.
The energy efficiency label should be printed on 80g or higher coated paper and affixed to a prominent position on the product or the smallest package with self-adhesive. When filing for record, a sample of the identification should be provided for review.
Step 3: Fill in the filing information online
First, you need to register as an enterprise user on the China Energy Efficiency Label Network (www.energylabel.gov.cn). The basic information of the enterprise must be provided. After being reviewed by the administrator (about 3 days), the registration will be completed.
After successful registration, log in and add the relevant information for product filing, mainly the information marked on the energy efficiency label.
For more detailed information, please refer to the "Service Guide" column on the left side of the homepage of China Energy Efficiency Labeling Network.
Step 4: Submit the required text materials for filing
Submit the following text materials to the China Energy Efficiency Label Management Center:
A copy of the producer's business license or registration certificate;
Energy Efficiency Label Filing Enterprise Information Form
Energy efficiency label sample; (See Step Two
Energy Efficiency Label Filing Form
Energy efficiency test report (See Step 1
When it comes to brand licensing or OEM production, the following need to be provided:
Brand Usage Authorization Letter
OEM Declaration for Energy Efficiency Label Filing
If the producer is an enterprise registered overseas, the importer is also one of the responsible parties. Therefore, it is also necessary to provide:
A copy of the business license or registration certificate of the importer;
Importer Enterprise Information Form
A copy of the relevant contract concluded between the importer and the overseas producer;
After receiving the written filing materials, the Energy Efficiency Label Management Center usually provides feedback within 10 working days. After the filing is completed, it will be publicly displayed on the China Energy Efficiency Label Network. Relevant information can be queried by filing number, producer name or model.
