6. Certification process

1. The importer or manufacturer registers the product trademark in Indonesia
2. Apply to the SDPPI certification body

7. Certification cycle and validity period

The cycle is 5-6 weeks and the validity period is 3 years.

8. Factory inspection

Factory inspection is required, and the validity period of the SDPPI certificate is maintained through annual review, so it is necessary to apply for factory inspection every year.

9. Matters needing attention

1. The Indonesian SDPPI certification certificate is issued by the Indonesian Accreditation Committee KAN, but different certification bodies have different certificate templates
2. For smartphones, tablets and mobile routers, the Indonesian government has TKDN requirements, that is, the requirements for the localization rate of components, and the test needs to be carried out in a laboratory approved by Indonesia's SDPPI.
