Introduction

The Hong Kong Safety Mark Scheme was established by the Hong Kong Safety Institute Limited (HKSI), founded by the Hong Kong Standards and Testing Centre, on August 7, 1998. It is an independent and non-profit certification centre. It is mainly responsible for planning and implementing the "Hong Kong Safety Mark Scheme", providing independent third-party certification services, and is committed to promoting product safety messages.

Applicable product range

This plan accepts applications from all manufacturers, importers and distributors. The range of products subject to certification includes household daily necessities, electrical and electronic products, toys and children's products, chemicals and food, and other consumer goods.

Application process

1. Fill out the application form

2. Provide relevant samples and technical data

3. Issue reports in accordance with IEC standards

4. At the same time, arrange factory inspections (once a year)

5. Obtain the certificate and purchase the label

1. Safety test report: CB test report plus CB certificate

2. Additional documents: Application form, design drawings, specifications, circuit diagrams, product photos, nameplates, user manuals, factory inspection reports, plugs comply with the Argentine BS1363 standard
