Certification mark
According to Article 30 of Chapter 3 of the "Regulations on the Administration of Compulsory Product Certification", the style of the certification mark consists of a basic pattern and the indication of the type of certification. Certification function
The Compulsory product certification system is a product conformity assessment system implemented by governments of various countries in accordance with laws and regulations to protect the personal safety of consumers, the lives of animals and plants, the environment and national security. It requires that products must comply with national standards and technical regulations. Compulsory product certification is carried out by formulating a product catalogue for compulsory product certification and implementing the compulsory product certification procedures, and conducting mandatory testing and auditing on the products listed in the Catalogue. All products listed in the catalogue of compulsory product certification that have not obtained the certification certificate from the designated certification body and have not affixed the certification mark as required shall not be imported, manufactured for sale or used in business service places.
The compulsory product certification system plays an irreplaceable role and has advantages in promoting the implementation of various national technical regulations and standards, regulating the market economic order, cracking down on counterfeit and shoddy products, enhancing the quality management level of products and protecting the rights and interests of consumers. Due to its scientific nature and fairness, the certification system has been widely adopted by most countries around the world. In countries that implement a market economy system, it is becoming an international common practice for governments to use the compulsory product certification system as a means of market access for products.
