Project Background
Lithium-ion batteries have superior performance and are widely used in the field of portable electronic products. A portable power bank refers to a power source weighing no more than 18 kilograms that is intended to be carried frequently by the user. To prevent safety accidents during the use and transportation of lithium battery products from causing damage to people's lives and property, the Standardization Administration of China issued the first mandatory standard for lithium batteries on December 5, 2014: GB31241-2014 "Safety Requirements for Lithium-ion Batteries and Battery Packs for Portable Electronic Products" (Document No. 27 of the Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China in 2014) came into effect on August 1, 2015.
